Suzuki TC 125

Post by kappage »

Just recently i went to my uncles farm and was flogging around on this little beauty then out of no where the engine slows down and stalls.... Now i had to push this thing up a hill and over about 1km. I had plenty of fuel and everything, just this afternoon i put on a new airfilter check fuel and two stroke oil and it still did it after about 5 minutes of riding it hard. Anyone good with two stroke engines want to tell me what is wrong with this Awesome machine!!

All help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Has it been sitting all that time until you used it?

I have taken it mostly apart, still yet to do the carburetor this morning. It seems to stall when it gets 'hot'. Yes it was sitting for about 8 months before i jsut went up to it and kickstarted it, (not expecting it to go) and i practically crapped myself. It worked fine for two days then on the third day of riding it, this started to happen..

Now i have taken the carby apart and it need a new O ring on one of the little thingos in it sop i replaced it , ive put it back together but i need to adjust the throttle im not sure if its too tight or not tight enough, When i start it, it revs up higher and higher until i kill it. I am assuming that this is to high?

I have now just set the throttle to what i think is alright at idle, not to fast to sound like its killing itself but not too low it stalls. But now i have a different problem while not riding it (IE in neutral) i rev it up it works ok i jerk it up and down rather quickly then it starts to sort of 'bark' at me and it jsut about dies until i let off. What the hell is going on?!?!

***EDIT***
Thinking about it, it probably needs more fuel, ive got none that i can spare at the moment i will try to get the fuel can filled this afternoon, but then i have to go out to dinner so i probably wont post until tomorrow.
