And I was impressed that I will be rolling over to 200k on my civic early next year. I am at over 192k. I got the car at 119k in April of 2006. The only things I have had to fix on it are struts, brakes, and tires.

I find that hard to believe, and what's the point. A towncar driving since 1983! please! That guy must have loved that car. Must have been of very great sentimential value to him.

vicaphit, If you say what is true, then I would be very worried about your timing belt. You need to have that replaced A.S.A.P. Just ask anyone and they will say the same thing.

I had it in the shop just a few months ago, and they didn't mention it at all.

we've had my '93 sable since it was brand new, right now, a rear strut mount is rusted out  and she still runs allright, except if i drive in the rain, the rear passenger tire likes to lock up if it sits in the garage for a few days if the last use was in rain(the first time it locked up was scary, i didnt know wtf was going on with it)

it has ~205k and has had the following: new exhaust system, new head gasket, new head(at a later time), new thermometer, new starter, new rear struts, new front struts & springs, new tires hear and there, we pulled the AC pump, new heater core, new radiator, new brakes here and there, new radiator hoses, new batteries, new alternator i think, and it could stand to get a new power steering pump and windshield wiper motor, and we've fixed rust on the running board of one side, and need to do the other
