Question about multi GPU folding
Question about multi GPU folding
Well im folding on a crossfire 4850 rig. But when trying to get two clients to run for each card i was looking around the CCC and saw that crossfire was enabled and running (by that i mean in a state where you can disable it until whatever app is using both cards is shut down). So does this mean that because they are in crossfire i dont need both clients? Im assuming so but i thought i would check.
Also if anyone knows what sort of performance i should be expecting it would be good, so i know if i have some tweaking to do

Re: Question about multi GPU folding
You will need to use 2 instances of the GPU Folding Client. I don't have specific information about that at this point because my SLI board is in RMA status right now. To my, very rough, understanding, you will need the cards to work separately in order to run 2 clients separately. The clients will need flags to differentiate them, -gpu 0 and -gpu 1.
