ASUS My Cinema U3100Mini USB 2.0 Digital TV Recorder

With the laptop market growing daily, the developers at ASUS figured that the time was right to bring a USB 2.0 digital TV receiver to the market. With the ASUS EeePC doing so well it makes sense that ASUS bring a product like this to market and just by looking at the pearl-white ASUS My Cinema - U3100Mini you can see for certain that the EeePC was a key influence.

Hey that is pretty cool and a quick way to just add tv to a computer given that the AWI series is pretty much dead now.
AMD 960T OC'ed to 4gz
ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970
2 X G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)(16gb)
EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2682-KR GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

Not bad. What is your CPU load while watching HDTV? I've been looking into getting a tuner for my PC but am still not sure which I should get. What are the main differences (if any) between the various HDTV tuners out there for the PC? To me, they pretty much all look the same.

Awesome! If you would want to see how it does on OTA HD, just send it my way. I have a powered antenna here also that could be used for testing. I would not be able to get anything through it from directv unless I hooked it up after the box, which pretty much defeats the purpose :)

I might pick one of these up to play with, especially if they have some really good deals on them!
