Hey all,
Gonna be replacing one of my mobos with a dual pcie board. The question is which one? Planning on picking up a second gfx card (9600 gt). Primarily going to be used for folding 2 gpu and a smp client. Occasionally used for gaming when i have a lan game. I have a few friends that are lacking in the computer area so they will use 1 of mine. What I am looking for is overclockability and stability ( ok so thats obvious ). I'll be using a q6600 hopefully 2.8-3.0+ with a arctic cooling freezer 7 pro. I was thinking about the 680i lt or the 750i. Sli is not a requirement.
good mobo for folding?

from my experiance 680i's dont like overclocking quads all to much. if you dont need sli why not go for a p45?

do any of p45 support both pcie slot at 16x or will that not make a diff in ppd?

well since there pcie2.0 slots its the same as having a 16x pcie1.1 slot even when there both running at 8x

Re: good mobo for folding?
For folding you can use down to a 4x without taking a performance hit. Keep in mind that if you use more than one GPU in a machine that they should have the same number of shaders. If the shaders are different sizes then the smaller one takes a huge performance hit.
