[Pics] TownScape Across the Valley

My school that I work in is on one side of a valley and the town centre is on the other, so I decided to have a play at taking a picture of it.

So after work I went and took a couple of shots, but found I needed a much longer shutter time than what I could hand hold stably (even leaning myself against a fence). It was with a smile that I remembered I actually had a decent tripod in my office, so went back to get it and tried again. Needless to say I'm really glad I did, as I got these pictures afterwards:

When you get charged as much as we do for gas, you try running something as inefficient as a pickup
(and by us I mean people who can drive, which doesn't include me >_>)
