Printer via network help

How can I hook up a printer with a wireless router? So I can have 2 computers use 1 printer. 1 laptop and 1 desktop

yeah sure if that's what it's called... how do I do it?

install the printer on one computer and then use the networking wizard to enable file and printer sharing on all the computers, make sure there in the same work group, then go to control panel -> printers -> add printer -> net work printer or a printer attached to another computers -> it should find it

I thought it would be simple.
I'm going to someones house to do this for them and never have. So I wanted to make sure I didn't look retarded. lol thanks
