xenons are not designed to be overclocked, they are designed to be stable server chips.

might just have a bad processor... That E8600 should do well over 4GHz on that system

Well been trying to overclock this sytem all weekend, found that ASUS Rampage MB X48 likes the CPU but not the memory to much. Tried lots of differnent Multiplier settings with this MB so this is what I was able to do max with the time I had 4000 Mhz less of mem that I have!!!!
Hey Nate I am going to need some help with this system, posting some pics and dont laugh at the PINK ROOM I turned my daughters room into my tech room after she moved out!!!!!
Hold it down there boy's

9.0x Multiplier
CPU 4.5Ghz
Bus 500.0 Mhz
Rated FSB 2000.0 Mhz
Mem timmings 7-7-7-18 T1 @16000

the gtx295 is only one video card..so YES you can..never knew of a board that couldnt use just one video card(that's for a desktop) ..you're only concern to think of would be if it would fit in your tower

Note: I just noticed the picture above does have a gtx295 install on that motherboard.so there's your answer too
