CCC can't open

Post by valpha »

hello everyone I'm new here and I need your help. I'll tell you my problem. Then one day I buy my card from ATI R 4830 (Version OC) and I install. Installing drivers and other utilities all running smoothly. The following month I see a new driver which is 9.2. I installed and I open CCC but actually I do not like the interface of this one ... I uninstall the CCC and I reinstall the CCC I had on my original CD. But here is the whole problem. I finished the installation I try to open the CCC, but it no longer wants .... I uninstalled I reinstalled, I rebuilt it several times with other driver CCC. To try to solve this problem I go to the File ATI / SUPPORT, I find and open file driver that I install and I delete all.
One day I found your site and I installing DRIVER CLEANER (this is serious because I did not use this software before?) And I uninstalled all Nvidia and ATI can I reinstall the driver with ATI CCC. But it is always the problem of appearance of the interface of CCC. It is not How !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Thanks for your reply

not too sure you'd want to mix and match CCC with different drivers... I've personally never done that and is likely why you can't open CCC now.

What changed in the 9.2 drivers from 9.1 that you don't like?

That is correct. The reason CCC is updated along with a given driver is that it supports that particular driver. I have been able to launch mixed versions before however I doubt it was working the way ATi intended it to.
