on two of the stages i was pretty much in danger of getting hit by large rocks, or the cars themselves, but i only got hit by small rocks a few cars threw, one stage you can see people in front of me backing off and i stand still which looks pretty funny on camera

So THAT's why you haven't been on TF2 so often!

I would be pretty nervous standing near the outside of some of those turns. I have seen too many Rally wrecks involving spectators.

this rally averages about 1 crash per year, the cars that DO crash on the NEFR generally dont do it bad enough to stop racing, the only people that DNF are from mechanical problems like having an oil leak on the Turbo most commonly, some tranny/drivetrain issues etc.
