MSI MSI GT683R—Clarification on Availability of Bigfoot Connectivity

In early June 2011, MSI displayed a number of products at Computex 2011, including four new notebook series, which were met with an incredible response from media and show attendees.

One of the most talked-about devices on display was the GT683 gaming laptop. In order to showcase the full promise of the computer, MSI worked closely with Bigfoot Networks to integrate a new Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N 1102 adapter into a sample notebook. The resulting test unit delivered blazing transmission speeds during gaming demonstrations.

This specific GT683 notebook, and the collaboration with Bigfoot Networks, was only for demonstration at Computex, and has not been mass produced for the consumer market.
