Doesn't mean anything to me as I don't plug in gold plated video/audio connectors anyway. I've asked Gigabyte if they done any in-depth with and without testing in their Taiwan R&D facility. I'll let you know if they have and if they haven't, then it was likely to be a checkmark feature that sounds good.
