Do think you these services will ever become more than a fad?

Yes, these services will replace remote desktop if developed by the right company (M$)

What does everything think about the various online operating systems.
For example: youos , eyeos , Sun and there may be others.

Has anyone used these services? If so, what do you think about it.

I strongly belive that iThinNets are the way of the future for consumer devices. Your digital cable box, tivo.. xbox360 are already very close to this. Most of the content is online and the OS is dependent on a network connection of some sort. The nice thing about this is CE stuff will benifit more than computers as they are one/two trick ponyies.
