Graphics Card Set up Help please

Post by Christianmartin05 »

Hi there, so im just getting started in building my own pc.
I was wondering if 2 SLI asus 7900gt would be better than a single Nvidia 7950 GX2 on my computer
and i dunno if i should stick with 2 sli slots or using single sli graphics cards, i want to get ready for future pc gaming
i currently have a Asus P5LD2 with 945chipset motherboard

Your decision has already been made, 7900GT will not SLI on that motherboard unless you manage to get your hands on some hacked drivers. So 7950GX2 it is.

Most new PCs are starting to be SLI. I would recommend getting an SLI mother board just so you have that option. But if you were to get a 7950gtx you would still have a plenty of videocard to go around. perhaps consider getting one 7950 and an SLI mobo and buying a second 7950 in the future? Just a few thoughts...

***I drool over the 7950  ***
