My FX-62 processor has taken a crap

Post by Apoptosis »

My FX-62 processor has taken a crap... anything over 250MHz HTT it can't run any gaming benchmarks and crashes in Super Pi and Prime 95...

I'm running 250MHz HTT x 10 multi = 2.5GHz... LOL

Sad... I believe the memory controller is gone on this one.

What are you going to replace it with? Are you going Core Duo 2 or will you stick with AMD?

The room gets very quiet as Apop is about to speak.....

That is wierd, last time I had a proc semi-crap out on me was my old Athlon XP.

Eat that Intel boys! AMD Procs are tough, they even work when their broken! (jk)

What VDIMM did you run? The mem controller might have been blown from using a low vcore/high vdimm combo at some stage?

Eitherway, that sucks! I lost 2 chips this year........I feel your pain!
