Request: Overclocking my E6600. :D

Post by rackers »

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section,.

Well I was just wondering if someone would be able to post a guide on how to overclock my E6600.
The specificationa are as follows,
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
1024MB DDR2 667MHz Dual Channel (Couldn't find anymore on ram)
Intel 975X Chipset

I have default cooling systems, RAM is already oc'd to run at 800MHZ, I upped voltage so it would be stable, it's on 1.56V I think. :D

I just wondered how far I could overclock to comfortably still be in the 50s, early 60s C's.

Cheers to anyone who takes the time to help me, very appreciated. :)

hi,

I recently got my e6600 on the same RAM settings to 2.95Ghz with stock cooler and it idles high 40s, never rising into the 60s even when pushed.
