ATI Tray Tools Overclocking

Post by dgood »

So I was convinced by a few people today to use ATI Tray Tools as opposed to my ati tool I had been using for my overclocks. I am getting higher clocks by about 20 mhz on my core and the same on my ram. In my book thats worth the switch. However I was wondering how long I should leave this program scanning for artifacts before its considered solid?
I have my x800gto (flashed to x800 xt) running at 594/540(1080). @55C Full Load. (graph leveled out horizontal)

This is the only program I've found that will overclock my X1650XT. (the core anyway. The memory on the card simply will not overclock, if any attempt is made to change the frequency the board locks up, taking the system with it.) I'm sure it has a smaller footprint than CCC. I don't know what ATI was thinking, that program borders on hubris.
