Unsure whether it will be able to keep the performance crown after the release of the Radeon HD 2900XT, Green-themed Santa Clara company, Nvidia will be releasing a new high-end card dubbed GeForce 8800 Ultra. The new-born G80 baby will arrive in late May and, courtesy of one little mistake from Dell, the specification of the upcoming card have been revealed. The 8800 Ultra will have its core clocked at 650MHz and its memory at 1080MHz (aka 2160 DDR). While the clock of the stream processors has not been confirmed, the card still has 128 of them and will basically be an overclocked 8800GTX as it will stay true to the 384bit memory bus and 768MB of memory. Expect a price tag that will make anyone blush.

i hope this means the 8800gtx cards drop in price a bit
