Check out this great E-bay deal... You Get a 6.8GHz Pentium D 820 CPU that has been overclocked....
THE CPU IS A INTEL PENTIUM D 820 DUAL CORE. EACH CORE HAS BEEN OVERCLOCKED TO 3.4 GHZ FOR A EQUIVALENT CLOCK SPEED OF A 6.8 GHZ (3.4 GHZ X 2 cores)
WE HAVE STRESS TESTED THIS MOTHERBOARD/CPU FOR 3 DAYS WITH PRIME95, 3DMARK05, AND BURNIN TEST. NOT ONE SINGLE ERROR WAS REPORTED.
So overclocking on dual-core processors means you can add the frequency of both cores up? Whatever... Stay Clear!

If you look at the sellers history they have sold many of these 6.8GHz processors... some going for
$545!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 6852241978
Intel 820 Processor - $120
ECS 945P-A Motherboard - $68
Total Part Cost: $188
So it costs these guys $188 in parts and they are selling them on ebay for $400 to $545 as 6.8GHz machines... poor customers.
Off that one sale these guys made $357!

is no longer accepted as a payment method ! We do not feel that it's safe for a company such as Paypal to keep on file personal information such as your social security number, credit card and banking accounts, nor do we feel that it's right that Paypal monitor your credit report !
Your own credit card company provides you the same buyer protection as does Paypal !
this right there would/should raise a flag for even for the techno impared if they shop on ebay regular.

I am waiting for the guy to list a system with 2 CPU's and claim 13.6 GHz processing. That would be great. Makes sense to me.

What? You mean that you
really can't do that?
I foresee a class action lawsuit against Utopia Computers for false advertisement on the horizon.
Since this is about OC'ing, what speeds have you guys acheived using your best OC'ing methods? Just curious of what someone with the know how can actually get out of a processor.

THIS was my best OC'in chip.........P4 Celeron...could do a 1GHz OC without extra voltage.....and 1.2GHz OC with .1v extra!

You actually got an extra 1GHz out of that celeron?!! I had always been told that the celeron's were easily OC'ed, but DANG that is very impressive.
