now lets see the performance difference with the nearly 500MHz speed bump! 8-[ or if you can really maxx it out with some voltage changes too

good read, stock phenoms may not stack up against the C2Qx, but with overclocking to equivalent speeds at least it may. i have high hopes for 45nm on the AMD side, cant wait

it's not enough to catch up to Intel... Check out the Intel Q9300, which is $267 versus the AMD 9950 at $235...

so 230 FSB(i know AMD doesnt use FSB anymore, but thats basically what it is anyway) was the highest you could possibly get with that setup?

If you have a mobo with the upcoming SB650, try using that mobo for overclocking. I read on another forum that the SB650 is an excellent overclocker.
Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.2Ghz @ 1.16V (CPU-Z + LinX)
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H F14 BIOS
ASUS GTX 460 768MB @ 800/1950
Kingston HyperX DDR3 8GB @ DDR-1333
Corsair AX750
Crucial M4 128GB
Western Digital Black 1TB

Interestingly, they show the 2x QX9775 in all the benchmarks except the power consumption.
That was s little disappointing. I was wanting to see how well it performed as a heater in the winter.

Thanks! :)

That would seem to indicate that the 2nd CPU only uses about 60W.
Does that jive?

Sounds about right..

Not sure if there are things out there that can stress the CPU more than povray, like prime95 or something, so you might be able to get the power usage higher, but for general 'full load' it should be pretty accurate.
