Oct.28 probelms with Nvidia GPU? Look here.

Post by Bwall »

Project 5801 was rolled out today and is horribly unstable at any clock speed. :toimonster:
Supposedly they have been pulled so you should be able to get 5506's. Your clients are all likely paused 24 hours for exceeding EUE limit, just restart them and you will be good to go.

Ugh.....well it worked for one unit on each GPU. Back to getting nothing but 5801 again.

Same here, was at work all day and didn't get home until 10pm. Didn't get it fired back up until around 6am today. Bleh...

I have a card that still can't download a WU, and I've restarted it about 100 times.

Stupid question, did you reboot computer not just the client?
Then I would check the server your client is trying to connect to and make sure its up and running properly!
If so, I would uninstall client and all related folders and then reinstall with the latest version.

I am starting to get these errors again. Is anyone else having these issues?

Edit: 11/06/08: Everything seems to be working without any errors.

Edit: 11/07/08: They're back.

I have rebooted the machine several times, reinstalled multiple driver versions and even tried to download the folding at home client off of nVidia's site. I've deleted the WU out of the folder and forced it to download another. It ends up downloading the same WU and the problem continues. There is no trouble with the PC otherwise.
