Mounting brackets for LAG775 heatsink

I was looking around for the screw-in backplate type heatsink bracket and was wondering if there is a certain version for different heatsinks?

I have this one.

Is there a certain one? Or are they all interchangeable?

Your cooler has push pins so I'm not sure how you could mount a back plate to it.

I was hoping I could replace the push pins........

Couldn't I pop them out and use screws instead?

Shouldn't be too hard?

i absolutly hate those bloody push pins, how can intel justify them on there stock CPU coolers!

Because it's intel. And they have the faster processor now so whatever they say is justified!

Probably easier to get a new cooler than trying to do something like that.

scratch my original post, i posted after staring at computer screens for about 9 hours. glossed the whole thing. anyway, i dont see much reason why you couldnt do this. got any pc repair stores around? they might have the used parts you need
