Partially computers, mainly hardware.
I need to find a device for someone where you can take a pic and put a description of what it is easily. Like a worded description of a location and what exactly needs to be done. Any ideas?
Re: Partially computers, mainly hardware.
I have read that 3 times, and can't quite understand what you are looking for. You need a device that will diagram a picture with details?

Haha sorry I wrote it from my phone in a rush between red lights.
Ok example it's for a guy who does maintenance work on apartments.
Say there is a hole in an exterior wall, on apartment 3100 then a step missing on 3505
Take a picture of the hole in the wall, figure out what you would need, dry wall stucko and paint, and put all that as a pic description. Then do it again on the step, pressure treated wood, wood glaze and 4 bolts. ETC..
It can be a palm pilot, camera whatever you think would fit.

How about a digital camera with the ability to add voice notes to photographs?

voice notes would work, how would I search for that feature? Will it say voice notes or something?
Re: Partially computers, mainly hardware.
Sometimes its called Voice memo, but I just did a search at a camera website and couldn't come up with anything :-/
Maybe it was a feature that was included in cameras as a fad, as I know there used to be camera's with this feature.

Many camera's now will let you take "mini-movies" and you could talk durring that.
Another option is a smart phone with a camera like my HTC Hermes. It's got a 1.3MP camera, voice recording, a writting pad, and a keyboard.
