NFS Carbon demo is out

I wouldn't bother. Its crap. Most Wanted 3. The controls are a step backward, the physics are terrible, and the camera angles are worse. the blur at high speeds starts at lower speeds, and does more hindrance then cool factor. Be Forewarned.

well I grew up with the need for speeds. I hated Underground. It's not NFS IMO. Carbon is ehh. Most Wanted was close to the best in the series. Got back to its roots. This to me is a step in the wrong direction

The videos of the game make it seem neat, but the demo is not promising.

The blur starts to soon, and the three demo cars have bad handling.

The concept of dueling street racing factions is nice, and now you can be the cop. (You couldn't in Most Wanted) They also have a kind of circuit racing werer you're on a team and one person "blocks" while the other "charges". The rechargeable NOS and Speedbreaker are nice features. (That were in Most Wanted)

Is anybody going to get NFS Carbon now that it's out? I'm considering it...

I'll get it in the sense that a buddy of mine will get it and I'll borrow it. Will I spend my own money on it no.

I'm actually surprised at the price. It's only $40 at Amazon, Most Wanted was $50 or $60 when it first came out. Now it's $15.
