Frickin' Sweet
I got an email from my program chair at school saying we have been granted access to a site where we can download (or order CD’s for a small fee) a ton of MS products for FREE. They range from Visual Studio 2005 (all editions), Win XP Pro, Vista Business Edition, SQL Server 2005 (all editions), MS Visio Professional, MS Project Professional, Windows Server 2003 (all editions), etc, etc. Pretty darn cool, I am SO hooked up! Just thought I’d gloat.

My college had a deal for MS office for $25 at one point. The updates could only be downloaded from a school connection, and once you graduate you can use the programs, but not update them.

That's the only way to fly! My wife got all those programs from her job. It's nice to have if you use them. I know she does, I don't.

MSDNAA?
I got that from my uni too, its great to have all the stuff for free (like vista), shame that office isn't included in ours though.

Yep, that's the one. I'm surprised Office isn't in there either. I get it free from work anyway.DMB2000uk wrote:MSDNAA?

Re: Frickin' Sweet
When I was at school/college I picked up XP Pro and Office XP Pro for $28. There were 4 CDs and they came out to $7 a piece. For Christmas I had my cousin, who's at Texas A&M, pick me up Vista Ultimate for $20.
